"Gets very loose and rutted as you descend off the ridge, but I've done it on a road bike with 28s, so there's that. Some confusion as to weather the field-crossing down to Cowles Settlement Rd is public right-of-way; from what I can tell by the signage and Onondaga/Cortland County tax maps and GIS, non-motorized vehicles are in the clear."
